For five years, young mythologist Vergil Knight and the rest of the world has lived alongside the newly reborn gods of all religion and mythologies.

In this new world, gods are the pinnacle of entertainment. The most recognizable example of this phenomenon is the televised fighting tournament, Gods' Wrath.

Now, Vergil's dream over the past five years has come true as he is chosen to become one of the many mortal caretakers of a reborn god.

The Buddhist Monkey King, Sun Wukong, is now under the care of this mortal man. As the two become closer, however, a malicious entity from a long forgotten era rises from the watery depths and leaves a trail of death and mayhem behind it.

It may go untelevised, but two gods shall battle and both will show their WRATH!
