Hi! I’m C.A. McDivitt, a ‘professional’ Fantasy/Sci-fi/Light Novel author and
shameless fan of all three.
The story of my writing Light Novels begins back in 2015, as my sister and her friends were trying to
railroad me into watching anime. While browsing Funimation, I saw a link for a show called “Cowboy
Bebop”. I cautiously watched the first episode, and- well, I became a weeb right then and there. Fast-forward to 2020. When the Infinite March began, and I faced the hard choice of risking my family’s
health to keep a dead-end job that didn’t pay much, and was making my disability orders of magnitude
worse, or taking my meager savings and risking it all to become an author.
Since then, I’ve written several manuscripts, but ‘I Brought Our World’s Magic to this Other World!’-
which I often shorten to ‘Our World’s Magic’ - is the only one I’ve risked publishing. I may make a lot less
money as an author, but I haven’t regretted my choice one bit!
